Singapore, 17 October 2023 – The Alliance of Pentecostal & Charismatic Churches of Singapore (APCCS), is delighted to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Rev Dominic Yeo on his recent appointment as the Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF). Rev Yeo is the first Singaporean, and just second Asian, to be elected as Chairman of WAGF.

Rev Dominic Yeo was elected to his role at the ninth World Assemblies of God Congress in Madrid, Spain, which took place from October 12 to 14. As the denomination head, he provides leadership to 60 million adherents of the Assemblies of God and 85 million believers including affiliation churches in 173 nations. He is also the Co-Chairman of APCCS.

Rev Yang Tuck Yoong, Chairman of APCCS said, “Rev Yeo’s appointment is a remarkable milestone that highlights the significant contributions made by individuals from Asia in shaping the global religious landscape.”

“This role is a testament to Rev Yeo’s leadership and dedication, and his impact across Asia and the global Christian community,” he continued.

APCCS’ celebrates Rev Yeo’s ability to bring fresh perspectives and transformative initiatives to the many organisations that he serves, and we extend our warmest wishes to Rev Yeo as he embarks on this new chapter in his journey.
